Highlights • MS patients should continue their disease modifying therapy during the pandemic.• Newly diagnosed patients should start disease modifying therapy without delay.• The effect on COVID-19 infection and future vaccination should be considered.• Agents that cause prolonged non-selective lymphopenia are not preferred.• Only severe relapses should be treated preferably with oral steroids at home.
